The Legion of Terror
Why join The Legion? Well... lots of reasons! There are many reasons to join The Legion of Terror, the world's oldest and original horror improv production troupe. Some join to scare. Some join to learn SPFX Hollywood-style makeup. Some join to create sets and props. Some join because it's a fun way to earn community service hours. Scroll down for more information about each of these, or click here for info!
LIf you're an actor or just want to scare: • Want to brush up on your improv skills? Interact with dozens, or even hundreds of people per night! • Ever wanted to create a character from scratch, and bring it to life? Using makeup and costuming, your imagination can be made real! • Need practice with dialogue, accents, and dynamics? Rehearse your language skills with real-time feedback! LIf you're a makeup artist (or want to be!): • Want to learn the secrets of Hollywood-style special effects makeup? • Or how to create realistic moulage or trauma wounds? • Maybe you’d like a refresher course on basic grease and powder, and how makeup interacts with stage lighting? LIf you're a prop maker or set designer (or want to be!): • Want someplace that will appreciate your realistic looking rotted body parts? • Our propmakers have gone on to careers doing SPFX for movies and creating professional props for other haunts. • Have (or need) hands-on experience with sets, lighting, or sound design? We re-create the rooms and areas of Bloodview every year! LIf you want to volunteer for community service: • The L.o.T. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. We really do scare because we care. • Through our partnership with the Broadview Heights Lions Club, we can give community service hours for hours spent scaring people in a safe and supervised manner.
If you want to volunteer in a creative atmosphere that gives back to the community: That's we we do! Fill out the form below, and one of the Legion’s directors or staff will contact you to let you know how you can be one of us.
